You know, I was sitting here reading Zig Ziglar material and thinking about how successful he has become. For those of you who are not familiar with Ziggy he is a fabulous motivational speaker!  And girls he is from Texas.  His accent is about as thick as mine. This man is about 82 years old now, and he lives down the street from me. We call him the cliché “KING.” You wouldn’t think by hearing him that he was all that intelligent or educated. This man is one of the greatest successes in the world. So, I realized that any one has the potential to be great, regardless of their background, education or economic status.

I will tell you what I have learned here, all successful people have is a powerful belief in themselves. They know exactly what they want from life and they go out and get it. Successful people are driven by what they are meant to do with their lives, and nothing anyone says can change their belief. You know the potential of the human spirit is limitless. It gives you strength, fortitude, and keeps you going regardless of what obstacles are thrown in your way. You need to keep reminding yourself daily that you have this incredible power within you and you can tap in to that power whenever you choose.

You have to believe that you can do better even when everything looks like it is going wrong, that is your little personal light at the end of your tunnel.

You have to start with knowing who you are, knowing what you want and setting out to get it. Believing in yourself takes a lot of practice and you need to do it daily. It’s getting up every morning, taking a look in the mirror at yourself, and knowing this is going to be the best day ever. It’s thinking all day long about planning your life, listing out what you want, and working toward achieving it. Then BINGO you have just created a perfect life.
